What To Pack For A Spring Trip To Norway

10 Apr What To Pack For A Spring Trip To Norway

What To Pack For A Spring Trip To NorwayIt can be hard to figure out what to pack for a trip to Norway during the spring season. You can still go skiing some places and other you can sunbathe on the beach. If you are travelling all over to Norway and other countries in Scandinavia you would need a different range of clothes.

Lonely Planet Norway (Travel Guide)

There are a lot of guidebooks out there, however, I can clearly say that Lonely Planet is my favourite. You can get it as an e-book or hardcover. I am pretty old school and personally like the hardcover. The Lonely Planet book includes top places to eat, visit and routes to drive and itineraries.

Moon Oslo (Travel Guide) There are no Lonely Planet guide for Oslo specifically and if you prefer an own detailed book Oslo by Moon is recommended where it includes detailed maps, phrases, background history and itineraries.

Bergans Cecilie Microlight Anorak – Women’s

It is important to bring a proper rainjacket to keep you dry. It can rain a lot in Norway, especially in the West. Bergans is a Norwegian brand and is known for its quality products of adventure clothing and tools.

Hotouch Women’s Double-Breasted Trench Coat Fit and Flare With Belt A trench coat is a must-have for Spring in Norway. It is not too hot and heavy and fit perfectly in the chilly weather. This trench coat is also typical Oslo-style and you will immediately fit in.

Tempt Me Women Casual Long Sleeve Surplice Wrap V Neck Swing Cocktail Midi Dress

Salomon Womens XA Elevate GTX these sneakers are breathable, waterproof protection from outside elements. It is perfect for Spring in Norway where the weather changes rapidly from sunny to rain.

TravelWise Packing Cube System – Durable 5 Piece Weekender  A packing cube system is so important for an organised trip! Have you ever gone backpacking and something leaked in your backpack and everything got wet? I have, and it sucks. This was before I heard about the cube system. This is a must-have for a trip to Norway.

This floral suitcase is perfect for a spring trip. It is fashionable and different from the normal and boring suitcases. You can get the suitcase in beige, pink and blue. The suitcase has 360 Spinner wheels and Retro 3 password lock.

Rainlax Travel Umbrella Unbreakable Lightweight and windproof

It can rain a lot in Norway during the spring months, and be windy at the same time. You might not want to carry waterproof jacket all the time. This stylish yellow umbrella is a must-have for globetrotters. Nothing sucks more ruining your umbrella because of the wind. With this one, you don’t have to buy a new one every time.

Bear Butt Double Parachute Hammock

You can get the hammock in 15 different colours. It is made of Nylon Taffeta and feels soft. If it rips, they promise to give your money back. Bear Butt hammocks might have the best reviews on Amazon when it comes to hammocks. A must-have if you are planning on camping in Europe.

Extreme Cateyes Retro Vintage Celebrity Inspired High Pointed Frame Sunglasses I love these sunglasses, feel fabulous with these stylish cat-eye sunglasses. Sunglasses are essential if you are heading up the mountains where it could be snow.

L’Oreal Paris Advanced Suncare Suncare Silky Sheer Lotion, SPF 30 3 fl oz Pack of 2 The sun can also be strong during spring in Norway, Especially in the mountains. SPF 30 is enough during this time of year. If you hike the mountain in Norway while there is snow the sun can be quite harsh.

This is the perfect gift for the beginner-traveller that doesn’t own it already, and it is only $16! If there are one of these gifts that are really essential, it definitely is this 6 in 1 kit.

I’ve never been in Norway, but judging from your list it must be pretty chill there in spring. I wouldn’t have guessed that you may need sunscreen in Scandinavia.. Is the sun really so strong there?

The sun is not strong there at all, but if you go to the mountain it will be. I think it is a good idea to use sunscreen anyway.

I’ve been hearing so much about the Fjallraven backpack lately. I had no idea it was a good bag for people with back problems. Do you happen to know why that is so? Is there some built-in technology?

It is how it is built, to fit the back better. If you are unsure it is a good idea to go to a store where they sell it and try it on 🙂

This is a great pack list for a spring trip to Norway. I love that knit dress and I could see myself wearing it all the time. I’ve never heard of the Skyroam mobile wifi hotspot before, but will think about getting one for my next trip.

It is great when you travel around from place to place and not necessarily good connection, it is awesome, it doesn’t work in every country, but works in Norway 🙂
