What To Pack For A Winter-Trip To Europe

It is not easy to figure out what to pack for a Winter-trip to Europe. That’s why I have created this essential packing list that covers what to bring of clothes, bags, travel essentials and camera equipment.

Think Berlin will be hot during Winter? Nope, when I was there January 2015, Berlin was even colder than Oslo. There is a saying in Norway and many other places in Europe that "It is nothing called bad weather, only bad clothing."

This stylish pink umbrella is a must-have for globetrotters. Nothing sucks more ruining your umbrella because of the wind. With this one, you don't have to buy a new one every time.

Stay safe and warm with these combat boots. An own pocket to fit credit cards and money!

You will regret not having an underwater camera if you don't bring one. The newest Go Pro Hero 5 is the best on the market. You have a screen so you will see the photos you take. You can shoot 4k videos and the photo quality is better than ever. It also automatically adds the photos to GoPro plus cloud so you can access the photos from your phone right away. Don't forget to add at least a 64 GB memory card. You don't want to have a full memory when you are already underwater.

This weather resistant camera is perfect for a trip to Europe. It is smaller than a DSLR camera and so handy for travelling without carrying a heavy camera bag, this camera is a lifesaver!

Is a must for the traveller that wants to keep your stuff safe inside your bag without going around and worry about it at all times. This bag is perfect for day-trips in many big cities in Europe as pickpocketing occurs. Pacsafe uses the newest method on locks, anti-slash, and RFIDsafe blocking pockets for sensitive data such as microchips.

This tiny portable purse makes it possible to lock your expensive valuables to items such as to a bigger bag or the bed at the hostel.

The weather can be quite dry in Europe during winter. Protect your lips with these organic lip balms!

These travel guides are my favourite. I don't want to travel to a new destination without a Lonely Planet travel guide! It gives you ideas on where to go, what to do, where to eat and stay! If you only want to get one thing from this list! This is a must!

Going hiking in Scandinavia or checking out the Northern Lights? You will freeze. This vest is the best of the best in heating clothes as it is insulated with heating and you can easily control it.

This base layer sweater is a must-have when you hike in cold weather. It is designed with 100% merino wool by a Norwegian skier and it will keep you warm but not sweaty. Ideal for hiking or skiing in Northern Europe.

North Europeans know how to dress for cold weather. This beautiful and hand knitted jumper is good for hikes and travelling in Northern Europe.

These traditional hand-knitted mittens have kept me warm every winter in Norway. They are not waterproof, but they are the best when you often freeze on your hands, it is better to keep the fingers together.

This winter warm scarf is easy to put around your neck and is a must-have anywhere in Europe during the Winter months.

Going skiing in the Alps or in Scandinavia? You need to protect your eyes, you can be blinded by the sun and not see anything because of the reflection of the snow.

Going far north or to the Alps? you need proper snow boots. These snow boots will keep you warm and dry.

Is a must as well even though it is summer. Many places can get quite chilly when the sun is not out. So bring at least one pair of jeans.
