04 Apr Why You Should Visit Puyo In The Ecuadorian Amazon
Puyo is at the entrance of the Ecuadorian Amazon. Many backpackers stop in Puyo on their way to Cuyabeno or Yasuni, which are deeper into the Amazon.
You don’t need to travel too far to experience the Amazon in Ecuador. You have probably heard of the swing at the end of the world in Baños? Just outside of Baños is Puyo. If you already are going to Baños I strongly recommend taking a day trip to Puyo. This post highlights why you should go and photos to inspire you to visit Puyo.

If you are brave enough you can take the Tarzan swing at Mirador Indichuris. I warn you, no security at all and it is many meters down. Your guide catches you and helps you on. It is the craziest thing I have ever done. Insane adrenaline kick.
